
The Aging and Microbiome Conference 2024 (AMC2024) was a vibrant gathering of approximately 90 participants , bringing together national and international researchers for 1.5 days of interdisciplinary exchange. Chaired by Clara Correia Melo and Dario Valenzano and co-organized by Melike Donertas and Katarzyna Winek, the event featured a keynote by Meng Wang and invited talks from Filipe Cabreiro, Kai Blin, Maria Ermolaeva, and Maria Vehreschild, alongside 12 oral presentations selected from abstract submissions. Complemented by a poster session and a lively conference dinner, AMC2024 provided a rich platform for scientific engagement and networking. AMC2024 centred on the intricate relationship between aging and the microbiome, exploring topics from model organism studies to clinical applications. The diverse program showcased cutting-edge research and fostered collaboration across disciplines, underscoring the pivotal role of microbiome studies in understanding aging processes.
